Description

This painting is based on Rabindra Sangeet "Ananda Dhara". The song is about the flowing energy around and through us. The beauty of the energy is what the focal point of the song. In this painting, the flow of the bright colours gets priority over the structural world that we see. If the flowing colours symbolise the vibrating wave of sub-atomic particles made of pure energy, then the trees are the symbol of static filters which convert the energy through photosynthesis into the larger source of energy(food). And the tiny bird is consciousness who can see all this happening around him but don't have the point of view or capacity of enjoying the whole process. If it could actually understand or feel the flow of energy around (even throughout) it, then it wouldn't be sad about every little problem of its life.
