I never drew a portrait of myself. IÕm less interested in myself than I am in others, especially woman as a painting subject. IÕve got nothing explicit.ÊI'mÊanÊartistÊdrawingÊeveryÊdayÊmorningÊandÊnight, I want to communicate the basic human emotions that I had while painting them. Each of my artwork reflects an interconnected set of emotions and feelings that existed in me at the moment. My style of painting is mainly abstract, intuitively placing layers of paints onto the canvas creates the atmosphere for me.
The abstract form of my work that comes from an intuitive style of painting is my intention to display emotional fulfilment. The material is a combination of my moods and experiences that I was feeling, sometimes in peace and sometimes in dispute, which is further demonstrated on to the canvas using harsh brushstrokes of red. I believe that the creative process is a reproduction of life's pain and joy. Elysium for me represents as the final resting place, a place where I am at peace and no negative thoughts or surrounding can disrupt me from within. The woman signifies a state of bliss achieved after death whenÊitÊisÊeasyÊtoÊseeÊhowÊtheÊworldÊmeant, any place or state of happiness or pleasure.
