I remember few years back, when I started painting, the subject I was Least confident about..was Portraits. I had to gather alot of courage before I started working on this one.. but then I took up this challenge and decided to work on Something towards which I as a person and therefore as an artist am emotionally inclined to.. The series that brings out the beauty which lies within the people of my country.. 'INCREDIBLE INDIA' I experimented alot during the process.. mixing colours to get an acceptable skin tone.. To an attempt to bring out through colours the joy of creating! With one stroke of brush I felt I won't be able to manage this one and then with another I was happy all over again because I could see something happening !!
