Krodha Kali, also known as Troma Nagmo, is a wrathful form of the Buddhist deity Vajravarahi, depicted as a fierce black (female spirit) used to cut through attachments, a deity known for her wisdom and compassion.
She is particularly associated wit Tibetan Buddhist practice that aims to overcome attachments and negative emotions through a process of offering and transformation.
She is often depicted with a black or dark blue complexion.
She has a fierce expression and a sow's head emerging from her crown, a characteristic feature of Vajravarahi.
She is often shown holding a hooked knife in her raised right arm, a skull cup at her chest, and a staff in the crook of her arm.
