Description
Artwork shows Lord Buddha's enlightenment & philosophy __Prince Siddhartha came in contact with an Old man,a Sick man & a corpse.This moved him & proved to be the catalyst for his transformation from Prince Siddhartha to 'The Buddha'.In the Artwork a finger(way to reach) pointing at the Moon(Inner self) describes Lord Buddha's teachings. The Buddha says "I must state clearly that my teaching is a method to experience reality & not reality itself, just as a finger pointing at the moon is not the moon itselfÓ. On One side(of the artwork) is the Dharmachakra(Wheel of the Dharma/Law). The Buddha is said to have set the 'dhammacakka' in motion when he delivered his first sermon. On the Other side (of the artwork) is the Eternal Knot _The Endless Knot iconography symbolized Samsara i.e , the endless cycle of suffering, i.e birth , death & rebirth.Product Code-ART_3636_23423
