This work explores the chromatic harmony between delicate flora and the robust textures of tropical fruits. I utilized masterful, controlled brushwork to differentiate the velvet petals of the roses and orchids from the tactile, geometric surface of the custard apples and the waxy sheen of the starfruit. The blue hydrangeas provide a cool counterpoint to the warm mangoes, built up with subtle impasto to catch the light. By utilizing a reflective foreground surface, I deepened the composition's atmospheric depth, ensuring the shadows remain vibrant and infused with the reflected glow of the fruit.
Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass.
