In this painting, I have shown the goddess of the sea, Amphitrite and Poseidon, the sea-godÕs love story. According to Greek mythology, she is personified as the sea- the loud-moaning mother of fish, seals and dolphins. Poseidon saw her dancing and fell ill love with her. This portrays the story of Poseidon searching for his lost love among the fish and other sea creatures. He ultimately found her with the help of a dolphin. After their marriage, Amphitrite doesnÕt make appearances which is why I have shown only a bit of her face, the rest of it is hidden in the sea. Product Code-ART_9003_74406
