This is a beautiful handmade painting about Radha and Krishna. This painting depicts Radha, Krishna dancing around each other but imagines it combining 2 different folk art styles of India. One folk art is the dancing style Kuchipudi. Another folk art is the painting style Kalamkari design. So the painting is about what if the mythical lovers Radha, Krishna lost in their own world of love, dancing in the folk dancing style of Kuchipudi under the Tree of life depicted in very traditional folk painting art style of Kalamkari. This theme is imagined in this special way, as I wanted to combine the both art styles Kuchipudi and Kalamkari belonging to my south Indian birth state AndhraPradesh.
Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass. Always keep artworks away from direct sunlight and also from walls having water leakage problem, - as both can damage it.
