where the face, fragmented into geometric shards,
seems immersed in waves of color—
as if the sun of life and the moon of night
breathe together on the same canvas.
On the right, the fire of sunrise pours forth—
flames of burning orange,
the frenzy of crimson red,
the dazzling flight of golden yellow;
the throbbing of passion,
the warm breath of the heart,
the fierce rhythm of life.
On the left, deep night descends—
the cold depths of a blue ocean,
the mysterious shadow of darkness,
the cool touch of silent moonlight;
gentle waves of thought,
the muted music of the inner self.
Curving vines dance across the face,
tender white flowers bloom—
the delicate poetry of life,
nature’s gentle fingers,
petals of emotion that
tremble softly in the breeze.
Two eyes—one burning like fire,
the other serene like the sea—
gaze directly into the soul,
etching this sweet ache of duality,
humming the melody of love and longing.
Dhiraj Kalpna’s masterpiece
is an ocean of emotion,
where the union of warmth and coolness,
the dance of light and shadow,
becomes the eternal poetry of life.
This painting is not merely to be seen—
it is to be lived—
one that sinks into the heart
and echoes there for a long time,
like an old melody
that can never be forgotten.
Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass. Always keep artworks away from direct sunlight and also from walls having water leakage problem, - as both can damage it.
