An intricate abstract of figures emerging through colorful, web-like layers, reflecting the challenge of self-revelation.
The painting explores mayajaal, or the entangling illusion of worldly existence, as described by the artist. Human-like figures appear to struggle, climb, reach, and emerge through dense layers, suggesting the difficult inward journey of uncovering the authentic self beneath accumulated perceptions and attachments.
This work uses a symbolic abstract visual language, combining simplified figurative silhouettes with densely patterned, organic divisions. Black linear networks resemble webs, cells, or tangled pathways, while the flat, stained-color areas create a mixed-media or stained-glass-like effect. The imagery is expressive rather than naturalistic.
This painting would suit a contemporary living room, creative studio, meditation space, counseling office, or cultural lounge. Its layered symbolism encourages reflection and conversation, while its vivid palette can energize neutral interiors. Display it where viewers can spend time noticing its many interconnected forms and patterns. This artwork will complement any room or space beyond those mentioned, depending on individual preference.
The mood is energetic, introspective, and slightly turbulent. Reaching red figures and the maze-like webbing communicate tension, persistence, and spiritual searching. Despite the sense of confinement, the bright colors and upward gestures introduce a hopeful feeling of movement, awakening, and possible liberation.
The composition is an all-over field with no empty background, creating the sensation of being immersed in an intricate maze. Large green and blue figure-like forms anchor the left and right sides, while smaller red figures guide the eye across diagonal pathways through fragmented color clusters.
A highly saturated palette of emerald green, cobalt and sky blue, violet, ochre yellow, burnt orange, coral, and muted grey fills the image. Strong black outlines and patterned black sections unify these varied hues, while pale lavender and cream passages offer visual pauses amid the intensity.
