Their proximity expresses surrender, faith, and spiritual union. Meera’s closed eyes reflect inward devotion, while Krishna’s presence suggests divine guidance and eternal companionship.
The vibrant palette carries symbolic meaning. Blue signifies cosmic consciousness and Krishna’s infinite nature. Yellows and oranges evoke warmth, surrender, and sacred energy. Greens introduce renewal and life. Each small colored block represents an individual emotion or moment, and together they create harmony — just as devotion unites the fragmented experiences of life.
The cow placed below reinforces purity, innocence, and divine protection. The flute, though subtly rendered, suggests the call of the soul — a reminder that spiritual love is not imposed but invited.
Through this work, I aim to bridge mythology and modernity, devotion and abstraction. It is not merely an illustration of a sacred story, but a meditation on unconditional love, faith, and the quiet strength of surrender.
Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass. Always keep artworks away from direct sunlight and also from walls having water leakage problem, - as both can damage it.
- Unframed artworks are shipped in rolled format in a protective tube.
- Framed artworks are shipped in thermocol boxes, secured with multiple layers of bubble wraps.
- We ensure paintings are packed with utmost care to avoid any damage during transit and delivered to you in perfect condition.
- International shipping: Paintings shipped internationally are rolled and shipped in a tube. The painting is not stretched and is not ready to hang. It is meant to be framed by the customer at their local frame shop.
- If paintings are damaged during transit, please contact our customer care within 24 hours of receiving the package. We will provide you with a solution as soon as possible.
