A massive, brilliant golden-yellow sun dominates the upper center, encircled by vigorous, swirling impasto brushstrokes in shades of yellow, bright orange, and deep violet that radiate outward across the sky. The sky transitions from fiery orange at the center to deep purple and magenta at the upper corners. The seven horses exhibit a recurring sequence of coat colors including dark navy blue, silver-white, chestnut brown, brilliant white, black-blue, reddish-brown, and ice-white.
