A vibrant view of Siklawa Waterfall, where rushing alpine water cuts through rugged Tatra rocks and vivid green slopes.
This painting celebrates Siklawa Waterfall in Poland’s Tatra National Park as a meeting of mountain strength and the energising force of flowing water. The towering rocky terrain conveys permanence and resilience, while the cascading stream creates a vivid sense of movement, freshness, and natural vitality.
The work is painted in an expressive, decorative landscape style with clearly articulated contours, textured brushwork, and intensified natural forms. Rather than seeking strict photographic realism, the artist uses patterned marks, simplified rock planes, and lively colour contrasts to communicate the grandeur and spirit of the mountain setting.
This energetic mountain landscape would suit a living room, study, hallway, reception area, or nature-inspired office. Its bright greens and blues can refresh neutral interiors, while its rugged subject adds character to cabins, travel-themed spaces, wellness rooms, and homes with rustic or contemporary décor. This artwork will complement any room or space beyond those mentioned, depending on individual preference.
The mood is invigorating, optimistic, and adventurous. Rushing white water gives the image a feeling of constant energy, while the surrounding mountains feel protective, powerful, and enduring. Bright colour and visible texture transform the rugged wilderness into an uplifting, almost celebratory vision of nature.
The waterfall forms the central visual pathway, descending from the upper left and middle distance toward the foreground pool. Steep green slopes frame both sides, directing attention inward, while layered cliffs, boulders, and winding water channels establish depth. The tall triangular mountain at right balances the cascading verticals.
A fresh palette of strong greens, turquoise and sky blues dominates the scene, suggesting alpine vegetation, clear water, and open mountain air. Cool grey rocks provide structure, while warm ochre, rust, brown, and golden accents across the slopes create depth and enliven the landscape.

Siklawa is the highest waterfall in the Tatra National Park,Lesser Poland, dropping of 70 metres. The name of the waterfall comes from the word Siklawa meaning a mountain waterfall. To paint mountains on the canvas has been my weakness because they are symbol of strength and flowing water symbolises energy.
