I built the subject's striking features entirely through heavy impasto and dynamic palette knife applications, creating a highly tactile, three-dimensional texture across the canvas. The composition centers on a fierce, unwavering gaze, anchored by piercing blue eyes that provide a calm focal point amidst the surrounding energy. I selected a vibrant, non-traditional color palette dominated by neon lime green, vivid magenta, deep plum, and energetic splashes of orange. These intense hues contrast sharply against the smooth, neutral beige background, allowing the heavily textured face and swept-back hair to project forward. Energetic paint splatters frame the portrait, adding a sense of explosive movement and raw emotion to the piece. Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass. Always keep artworks away from direct sunlight and also from walls having water leakage problem, - as both can damage it.
