In this Impressionist oil-on-canvas, I sought to capture the fleeting, boundary-less quality of a misty dawn. I used a palette of violet, rose, and golden yellow, applying soft, blended brushwork to ensure the foliage appears to bleed into the hazy atmosphere. The foreground water features elongated, vertical strokes to create a dreamlike symmetry with the forest. By avoiding hard edges and using subtle impasto for light-infused highlights, I aimed to convey a sophisticated, contemplative mood rooted in refined chromatic harmony.
Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass.
