This painting depicts the innocence of Krishna and the guiding love of Yashoda.
This thought came to my mind when I was expecting my own baby. I painted it during the tender months of my pregnancy.
This artwork of baby Krishna with mom Yashoda is a tribute to the timeless bond between a mother and her child. As I brought this scene to life, I wasn't just imagining divine love - I was living it. Each brushstroke carries both devotion and anticipation, merging mythology with my own journey into motherhood.
According to Vastu Shastra, placing a Yashoda-Krishna painting thoughtfully can enhance the positive energy and harmony within your home. This depiction symbolizes unconditional love, maternal devotion, and divine blessings, making it a meaningful addition to your living space. North-East (Ishan Kona) is considered the most auspicious direction, placing the painting here invites divine energy and promotes peace and stability in the household.
Ideally paintings don't require much care as its a vertical surface, hence dust doesn't settle quite easily. You can gently dry dust the painting once in a month. You can also gently use a slightly damp cloth and dab it gently over the surface to capture the dust particles. You can do this once in 6 months.
Please do not use soap water, detergent, disinfectants or any chemicals over the painting as it might dissolve the colors. Paper and cloth paintings are usually framed with a glass on top, hence the artwork will remain intact. You would just need to clean the glass.
