We refer to Adiyogi as Shiva, because he perceived the dimension that we refer to as Shiva or 'that which is not. ' There is no distinction between 'that which is not,' and the one who perceives it.” – Sadhguru. It’s been very long i have ever drawn a Religious artwork. I wanted to draw from long but my thoughts are more towards in to Love, Landscapes, Abstracts and they are forcing me to draw those kind of paintings. Firstly when I have seen Adiyogi Shiva ( Innagurated in Year 2017 ) that day only i have this image embossed somewhere deep in my mind and i have a thought to paint . The world’s largest bust sculpture, Adiyogi, depicting Hindu deity Shiva, stands tall at 112 ft ,Located in Coimbatore (Chennai- India). Adiyogi statue has already been recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records. While painting this religious artwork of mine , i don’t want to portray Adiyogi alone , as Shiva is not completed without the Shiva Ganna ie. Nandi . Nandi is also known as Nandikeshwara or Nandideva is the bull Vahana of the Lord Shiva . He is also the guardian deity of Kailash, the abode of Shiva. This artwork of mine took almost a year for completion . The longest hours consuming , also the biggest creation of mine as of now. I have started this painting in Dec 2021 and completed in 2022.
