'paranoia' While it is quite normal to be alert & aware of one's surroundings, things take a turn when the same faculty snowballs into worry, apprehension, delusion, paranoia (a mental state in which you believe that other people want to harm you). Paranoia essentially emanates from the fear of the unknown and by default we take that 'unknown' to be negative/harmful. Of course not everybody experiences it in its extreme form (conspiracy, conflict, natural calamity etc.) but most of us fall into its milder yet intrusive bandwidth. One of the most common manifestation is fear of being judged. As soon as one steps out into the world one is constantly 'looking over the shoulder' for eyeballs that would be following him, judging him. You go through your day 'smooth as butter' yet this back-chatter goes on and on in some corner of your head. You are on the bed, ready to snooze-off, but wait, the voices in the head grow louder & cacophonic. You are filled with questions, punctuations, exclamations, incomplete thoughts. You want to control it but IT controls you. Sleep is out of question. Product Code-ART_8062_69620
