A Planometric drawing of Center for Development Studies and Activities (CDSA) ,Pune. This low-rise building is designed by Professor Christopher Benninger in 1976 and it is one of his widely appreciated masterpieces. The Planometric drawing of it is done by Ar.Vignesh Premkumar within 4 months and it is commissioned by the India House Art Gallery. This building is surrounded by a series of landscape and the location of it is in a mountaneous region. The painting interprets the landscape and the varieties of trees and animals in an artistic manner. It also depicts the lifestyle of people there. The buildings are connected by pavements and each building is having its own internal courtyard with landscape in it. The background landscape is mountaneous to depict the character of the region, as well as the river mulshi flows and got stacked up in the mulshi dam. Hunting dogs are the guards of CDSA, protecting the campus from thieves and monkeys so all its activities are documented in the painting.
